Botsmith is operated by Arrivau Pty Ltd (ABN 81 643 901 599), which is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
Only to provide and improve the Service: generating answers, sending you leads and login emails, measuring usage for billing, and preventing abuse. We do not sell your data, do not train general-purpose models on your content or conversations, and do not serve third-party advertising.
We rely on the following infrastructure: Cloudflare (hosting, database, vector search), large language model APIs (answer generation; only the conversation and relevant knowledge snippets are sent), a transactional email provider (login links and lead emails) and a payment provider (subscriptions). Each processes data only as needed to provide the Service to us.
Conversations and leads are kept under your account until you delete the bot or your account. Deleting a bot removes its knowledge base, conversations and leads. Login links expire after 15 minutes; sessions after 30 days. You can export or delete all of your data at any time from Account in your dashboard, or email hello@botsmith.chat.
As the website operator you are responsible for informing visitors, as required by local law, that an AI assistant is used and how data is collected. Our chat window sets no third-party tracking cookies; it stores a single session identifier in the visitor's browser so a conversation can continue across pages.
When you visit the Botsmith website we set one first-party cookie recording how you first arrived — for example a search engine, another website or a campaign link — so we can see which pages lead to sign-ups. If you sign up, that source is kept with your account. We also count page views by page and traffic source without identifying you. We use no third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
